Cambolc AI, VR and opportunities. 250 Pennies of thought on Humpday

Busy week so far have been exploring the world of AI and VR. I had a video conference yesterday with a developer working for an #Estonian company in the silicon valley of #Poland. The application of #AI to industry and education is myriad. I can see #WorkExperience scenarios where companies are reluctant to have students on Year 10 because of the nature of their work is too dangerous to have any one under the age of 18 doing the roles being onboard. I have seen at a local college a demonstration of hashtag#VR using Green Screen technology where you can change the tyre of a #F1 car as part of a pit crew. Why not a virtual forklift driver experience? Opens up the world of work. A lot of pupils have no idea what their parents do for a living once they leave the house. Bridging this gap with AI and building connections where parents show in the home what work is like could also lead to better social cohesion and family relationships for some.

Just completed Week 1 of #RaspberryPiFoundation, edX hashtag#RPFAITeachers
Teach teens computing: Understanding AI for educators.

Has provoked some critical thinking of how it would be possible to roll it out to a school environment where we have world weary teachers who think what another innovation/initiative and what does it mean to my work load?
