Hot Stories and Racy Horses: 500 Pennies of Thought.

Cambolc’s Digital Dream Compiled with the Help of #GoogleWordkspace Tools and #GoogleAI

A week of visits to Ely,  Cherry Hinton in Cambridge  and the town of my birth Newmarket.  The Suffolk Cambridgeshire border area is an often overlooked area.  For visibility we have started calling ourselves part of the #GreaterCambridge area.  Boundary changes long ago mean that the county in which I was born West Suffolk, ceased to exist and became part of Suffolk.  The seat of power moved East to Ipswich.  That is a long way on poor roads.  Being next to the ever expanding Oxford-Cambridge corridor we have attracted a lot of interest in our growth potential.  Some unwanted in the form of the #ForestCity proposal #IMO.  Other developments over the years have been really positive and I highlight The Epicentre where I am based with a dedicated desk!

The Red Lion Cherry Hinton saw the Hot Stories Business Network meet again last Wednesday (see below) where a select group of dedicated and supportive small business owners meet to encourage each other while sharing their stories.  This group meets twice monthly, locally (also at the Officers Mess at the Imperial War Museum #Duxford)  in person.  We share our offers, biographies and latest news to the people in the room.  The occasion is memorialised on Video by Jaimie Ellam under the direction of the Hot Stories organiser Renata Rimkute.  These later are shared via many different social media platforms to enhance business recognition, trust and reach.  My latest effort can be seen (above/below).

Regulatory and business changes in HR/Employment Law, Health  and Safety were highlighted at a hosted event at Newmarket Racecourse on Thursday.  Here the provider Peninsular took us through the many new hazards to the uninformed that will enter the business landscape over the coming months as new legislation  starts to be applied. To learn more about my thoughts and this and a helpful link to Peninsular and their services email me pcjspalding@cambolc.co.uk.

As the Haverhill Science Festival approaches next month we have been further developing our offer this week for our two events.  The first in collaboration with Sturmer Nurseries and The Epicentre centres on the topic of #SquareFootGardening and #sustainably growing your own vegetables for the table and the family.  The second event in collaboration with #FlipComputing and again The Epicentre will provide a journey into #playfulcomputing and #interactiveenterainment via the platform FlockXr.com.  Further information upcoming in newsletters!

#AIforSMEs becoming more and more critical in the race to be leaner and faster in business systems.  However it is increasingly becoming apparent that #AIAuditing to reduce being labelled risky as an organisation as #Anthropic was by the #USGovernemnt (see video below).  First, that I am aware of, occasion where a company has been publicly named a #Risky #AI.  The #HITL loop element of any #AI and #AIPlusHuman interaction needs to established to promote trust in your business brand.  The #AIFree movement is gathering in pace (See Facebook and LinkedIn posts).  How do you know you have a #AIFree content creator?  See more on the #YouTube channel coming up and our online and #IRL events below!
